Understanding Hybrid Dentures
Dental implants are a reliable solution to replace teeth. With same-day full arch replacement cases, your titanium implants act like the roots of your teeth and anchor the hybrid prosthesis. The prosthesis becomes your new permanent teeth and gums. We generally place five to six implants per arch to allow for the most optimal outcome for our patients.
After placement, we ensure the prosthesis fits well and matches the natural color and shape of your teeth. Thus, you will leave the office with a brand new smile. For almost all patients this will be permanent. The overall healing process takes between three to six months. Once your implants have fully fused without movement, we replace your temporary hybrid (gums and crowns) with an even more beautiful, permanent smile. The final hybrid denture can be upgraded from the temporary materials to porcelain and zirconia.
